Melissa Ransom

I sculpt in ceramics and cold cast metals decorating with glazes, metal acids and colourful resins. Making limited edition pieces that are available to buy in exhibitions and on my online shop. Each piece is although in an edition individual with its effect and colours.

After completing a foundation course in Art and Design, I studied at Brighton University where I graduated with a BA (Hons) in 3 dimensional design. After exhibiting my work at galleries in Sussex I then continued to study for a Post Graduate Course in Education.
Teaching Art and Design Technology I eventually became Co-ordinator of Design and Technology at a special needs school in Surrey.
Now I am working as a professional artist and working in my studio in Sussex.
