Born in Osaka in 1967. Tomo has been drawing, painting, making collages and taking photographs. Her works have been inspired by western contemporary artists, such as Andy Warhol, Rene Magritte, and Mr. Brainwash. She is better at still life and animals as a motif. She was into drawing different themes from the book, “642 things to draw”with a ball point pen and color pencils. About the education, as Tomo switched different schools, she eventually started learning photography. She has been seeking out photography in art forms, and then finally she obtained BFA in Fine Arts in 2010 at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco California. She also inspired by conceptual art at San Francisco Art Institute.
