My artistic name is Rone84. I was born in Ljubljana in spring of 1973. 1998 I graduated in sculpturing and pottery, and in 2000 classical art printing and graphics at Famul Stuart, school for applied arts, now part of University in Nova Gorica. After that, I was teaching printing in the same school for another four years. Meanwhile I was drawing, sculpturing, painting and illustrating and having shows from 1998 on. The tittle of my graduation diploma was  Pop art, and with my street art work, I started my journey I'm still engaged on... In around 1999 or 2000 the first wave of street art arrived, simultaneously all around the world. Artists like London police, Space invader, the Face... started to fill city walls with stickers, posters, sculptures, and so in Ljubljana were, and still are designers, painters, sculptors doing same concept. Till 2006 we moved to galleries. In 2006 we, around 20 authors, were invited to one of the most prestigious gallery in Ljubljana  MGLC ( International center of graphic arts ) in Tivoli Castle and had great show. There were also guests from Paris, Space Invader, from  London, London police, German painter Flying  Fortress, M City from Poland and the best of Ljubljana scene. Artists found little groups, called crews, of cliques. The same year, me and some other artist went to Berlin, where was second annual "Pictoplasma" art, specialised on characters, and street art convention. This art movement opened my eyes wide. It was like paradise for me... for some time Barcelona was the capital of street art and graffiti, than I read somewhere that Ljubljana took that place... anyway the scene was great, and artists have some sort of competition.  Graffiti put the competitive part, and painting the visual. The results was marvellous. Huge murals all over Ljubljanas concrete bypasses...The crews were competed , and that was the first time, that arts and sports had something in common... A few years latter we grow up, and every artist begin to do his own stuff, concepts and find his own way. But most of our generation, still do some street work, or street connected stuff, or uses stencils, spray paint, markers... In 2013 I published my own book And the bet goes on, poetry in drawings
