Rain Steam and Speed - After Turner - Mod 1 Print

Hello! I live in Carlisle, England, been married a few times ;0) and have three wonderful children. I'm primarily a self taught artist and work in many styles and mediums...Sculpture, 3D relief, Painting, Assemblage and will use any material/medium I feel is appropriate or is to hand or because it's regenerative. Experimentation is important to my artwork and I like to let the subconscious mind play and interact through the artworks allowing for spontaneous decisions and intuition guiding the outcome/finished piece. Writing is something else I love to do, short stories and having completed a novel last year (available for free from my website) I also create board games and word/word number games. I have a word game website providing original and unique games! I now have a series of books available for those who like a challenge, available from my website, CreateSpace and Amazon. Soooo, after spending many years in the construction industry as a multi-skilled trades person (plastering, tiling, carpentry etc) I am now persuing a career in the art world and to honour a calling I've felt for many (many)years. Studies over 25 years have led me to the micro and macro worlds both physical and metaphysical, including Spirituality, Philosophy, Hypnotherapy, Reiki, Martial arts and Meditation, Tai chi being the most prevalent. I feel I have a well balanced overview with the physical and non physical realms, life on earth and beyond to our galactic neighbours and therefore our reason for being and purpose in life. You only have to study or practice 'regression' in Hypnotherapy to understand this. In effect then, I'm a truth seeker and my aim is to include all my findings and beliefs in my artwork and writing. Some of it will be humourous, some will be very challenging...life is art itself so lets live it and express ourselves...creativity is what we are all about isn't it?!? I will add to this later because life is in constant motion and we adapt accordingly, plus I can change with the wind ;0) I hope you enjoy my artwork as much as I've enjoyed viewing all yours on this site, the variety and quality is incredible!! Post script - after becoming aquainted with this site I have now amended all my prices and reduced accordingly, but bearing in mind that after commisions and conversion rates I'm left with half of what you see on the screen...
