Wm. Steven Kroll is an artist, inventor, writer and business owner. In his series "Street Life", Kroll has captured the gritty reality of people surviving and striving on city streets — from a wheelchair-bound homeless man in Houston, to a jazz musician in San Francisco, to a hive of solitary commuters in Taipei. In his businesses he is actively engaged in both electronic and industrial design. Kroll was a finalist in the Arts for Parks national competition; winner of the Houston Art League’s annual competition; finalist in the national Duck Stamp competition;2013 four-time winner of ArtSlant New York; and finalist in a 2013 Saatchi Showdown competition among others.
