ARTHUR RODRIGUES was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and now lives in New York City. He has studied at New York Academy of Art, Fashion Institute of Technology and Jacques Harvey Oil Academy in Miami, and his art has been shown in numerous exhibitions in New York, Miami and London. His considers his paintings architectonic abstractions, which he constructs using a unique and personal idiom of shapes and colors. His sculptures explore the relationship between the figurative and the abstract, using a number of different mediums.
