Hi, I’m Maria Znova. I am an artist living and working in Ukraine. I have a degree in art, I am a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, a master of decorative and applied arts. Member of the "Pastel Guild of Ukraine", assosiate member of the "Pastel Guild of Europe", member of the "International Association of Pastel Societies". I have participated in many Ukrainian and international art festivals and exhibitions, and held solo exhibitions in Ukraine: Donetsk, Kyiv and the region. In Slovakia: Bratislava. I paint in different techniques and with different materials. Over the past few years, coffee and pastels have become my favourites. The energy of coffee inspires me to create graphic illustrations with a mood. The softness of pastels best conveys the beauty of flowers and nature. With these materials, I convey my vision, rich aromas of summer, interesting images, and pleasant memories. My paintings are a special view of life, a capture of something beautiful around us that we do not have time to see in the dynamic pace of modernity.
