Roger Colson is an experienced British painter whose works have been widely exhibited internationally, including in the USA, Australia, South America, Canada, Europe and the UK. With three central themes: the sky, sea and trees, he works with numerous glazes of oil paint to infuse each piece with luminosity and achieve an artistic signature of distinctive tone, colour and light. The majority of Roger’s paintings are based on the effects of the changing light conditions of the sky, at different times of the day, during the different seasons of the year. He uses multiple glazes and scumbles of the highest quality of oil paints over a period of time to give his work depth and create luminosity.
