Born far far away in a world that doesn't exist anymore. Too late for the stylish 50s, just in time for power shoulderpads. Educated as an Architect, UK citizen since 1996 when came to UK. Self-taught, although studied arts as part of my degree. I take interest in people and am inspired by that very special chaos, eccentricities and peculiarities of everyday life that often go unnoticed. Not everything ( if anything) in life as it seem at first. It takes a second look and attention to even minute details to understand and form an educated opinion. Look carefully, pay some attention- a picture really is worth a thousand words.I am not interested in creating just "something" in a frame. I want to make you stop and think. My subjects are influenced by personal experiences. I dont copy anyone and even my own work- each piece is a one- off and can never be replicated. I paint different subjects and work in different styles- from realistic to abstract. Latest direction is artdeco and mid century, or a mix of both.
