SHIPPING AND RETURNS

These decorative, wine close ups that I create are very imaginative, due to the color arrangements. They are currently in homes and wineries. This one, professionally framed with a float to reveal the deckled edge of the #300 lb soft press paper, will surely bring a smile, while lifting a glass.

My business marketing background and my years in Social Work lead me to start taking watercolor classes. It was a winding path, but my introduction to a hobby quickly lead me to embrace my creative future. It has been 13 years since becoming a member of the Laguna Beach, Sawdust Art Festival family. What an awesome experience, sharing art, creating everyday and being with so many talented artists. On top of that we have an opportunity to meet our art loving community. Having Sawdust to look forward to renews my creative passion. I have had gallery representation in Studio 7, Quorum, and Laguna Art, all here in Laguna. I have also been juried into many exhibits, including The Beverly Hills Art Show, with the last event October 2024. It is my honor to have been voted Laguna’s favorite watercolor artist again this year. Our camping trips in the National Parks and the terrain of Laguna Beach are my constant inspiration. The vistas, plant life that covers the hillsides, mountains, forest floor and gardens are exquisite reminders to paint. PAINTING EVERYDAY AT SAWDUST IS A CHANCE TO SHARE WATERCOLOR TECHNIQUE AND MY JOY IN PAINTING. I FREQUENTLY DRAW A PENCIL SKETCH TO LAYOUT PROPORTIONS AND THEN PAINT, USUALLY ERASING THE PENCIL LINES. BECAUSE WE HAVE NO WHITE PAINT WE LEAVE WHITES AND LIGHTS AND THEN PAINT TO THE DARKS. I LOVE THE TRANSPARENCY OF WATERCOLOR AND THE ABILITY TO SEE COLORS THROUGH THE TOP LAYERS.
