Ellen Owen (b.1985) is a practicing artist living and working in Birmingham, England. She works across a range of media and styles. She studied Fine Art at Milton Keynes College and Coventry University, has been exhibited in Milton Keynes, Coventry, and Birmingham and has sold hundreds of works worldwide. Ellen is usually found working at her studio in the south of Birmingham; where she works on her artwork and manages her online jewellery business. In all her creations; Ellen likes to make work which engages with the viewer and causes them to think and question. She enjoys experimenting with new techniques and ideas and is always incorporating them into her artwork. She enjoys philosophy and enlightenment themes and often uses them for inspiration and guidance in her work.
