I'm a journalist and embroidery artist based in London. I create intricate embroideries of British landscapes. I work from a mixture of photographs and drawings taken in the field, and feel a particular affinity for the South Downs where I grew up. My embroideries are sewn into recycled and reclaimed textiles to create sustainable works, and I also experiment with natural dying to create the right thread shades.
