Verónica Russek, born in Monterrey, Mexico, is an artist with over two decades of experience in the visual arts. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Arte A.C. and a diploma in Jewelry and Accessories Design and Production from CNCI University, Verónica has continuously expanded her artistic education with various art history courses at ITESM in Monterrey. Her work explores themes of social critique, the human experience, and collective concerns, drawing from her personal memories and observations of the world around her. Through abstract geometry, she manipulates color textures and layers, creating dynamic, vibrant pieces that reflect her fascination with movement and energy. Influenced by the retro and op art movements of the 1960s and 1970s, Verónica’s work is marked by boldness and daring use of color. Verónica has participated in over eighty exhibitions, art fairs, and auctions in Mexico, the United States, and Brazil. Her work has been featured in prestigious venues such as Spectrum Miami Art Fair, UNAM in Chicago, Instituto Cultural Mexicano de Laredo, and Torrego Art Gallery in São Paulo. Her pieces are part of private collections in Mexico and the United States and have been displayed in prominent institutions like the Museo MARCO (Museum of Contemporary Art) and the Metropolitan Museum of Monterrey.
