The esthetically dimension of his photographic work is implicating an intensive examination of the photographic materiality. Through various picture series he is reflecting the photography as a medium in all of its aspects. His photographic works are not simple copies of the reality, but rather the poetical compositions of different times and spaces. Therefore he is using different technics which he developed at some point to edit his pictures thematically and with regards to the content. This is also the reason why those pictures looks more like paintings and less as a technical tuned photography. Those pictures have a very unique esthetic which bespeaks the fragility of the shape and the interdependency of the colors.
