ANASTASIA SLAVNOVA
Artist architect and illustrator.
Anastasia was born in the family of the artist in Perm. From early childhood, she was interested in painting. Since 2012, she has started to take an active part in exhibition projects of Russia and Europe. Later she moved to St. Petersburg, where she was educated at St. Petersburg Architectural and Construction University as an architect. Anastasia lives and works in St. Petersburg.
The artist skillfully combines abstract and figurative painting. Thanks to the numerous application of colorful layers, the works are complex and textured. Through images of nature, the artist addresses the psychological depths, the inner essence of man. Possessing a high level of symbolic and abstract thinking, Anastasia writes landscapes almost without working with in kind. Her paintings are wide horizons, planes and lines that go into endless spaces, devoid of everything insignificant. The viewer only through sensual mysteries can understand such a landscape; it becomes a projection screen of human moods. In the hands of the artist, images turn into intuitive ciphers of experiences such as loneliness, overcoming and love.
