Eiman Muiny

I am a Canada-based artist whose practice is rooted in the study of old master paintings and classical techniques. My work explores how light, composition, and material can be used not only to construct images, but to hold emotion and memory.

Rather than replicating tradition, I approach it as a foundation for questioning and reinterpretation. Each painting develops through a process of observation, revision, and quiet uncertainty—where control and spontaneity meet.

Having grown up between cultures, my work reflects a sensitivity to in-between spaces—between past and present, structure and intuition, stillness and movement.
My aim is to create paintings that feel both timeless and immediate, inviting viewers into a moment that resists easy definition.
