Artist Statement “I don’t paint—I sculpt with color.” My work begins where traditional painting ends. Rather than brushing pigment onto canvas, I pour it, then peel it away when dry, transforming paint into a physical material that I cut, layer, and weave into intricate, tactile compositions. The result is a fusion of painting, sculpture, and textile-like depth that invites both the eye and the hand to explore. Born in the UK and now based in Melbourne, my art is shaped by movement, both literal and metaphorical. Having lived across multiple countries, I see relationships, communities, and experiences as ever-shifting layers that are constantly reassembled. My journey began with sculptural mosaic art, but during my BFA at Curtin University in Perth (2019), I transitioned to paint, drawn to its fluidity and endless possibilities. Since then, my pieces have found homes in private and public collections worldwide and have been recognized in prestigious art prizes. My work is alive with vibrancy, texture, and energy. If you’re looking for something bold and unexpected, something that challenges what painting can be, I invite you to explore my work and find the piece that speaks to you.
