Manny Rocca was nourished between United States and Spain, where he presently lives and works as a fine art photographer.
As a photographer who has worked for The Washington Post and The Washington Times, among others newspapers and magazines, Rocca has an experience of over more than two decade as a photojournalist covering; the White House, the State Department, The Senate and House of Representatives, also the glitz and glamour of well-heeled society in Washington D.C.
Presently Manny work as a fine art photographer, creating collections for public and private clients and working assignments on his own.
-I like to see in a photograph more than just a plain image; to me photography is at the same time a document and the result of a well-balanced composition, together with craftsmanship and fine art quality can be also a piece of art.-

In 1975 study at High Point Senior High School, Maryland. U.S.
In 1976 obtained his Bachelor´s Diploma, at San Isidoro Institute of Seville.
In 1977 left studies to pursue a career as a flamenco guitar player.
Also studied several computer courses, at the Cen-Set. Center of FP.

In 1974 at the age of seventeen, I started working in photography as an apprentice lab-technician at a photographic shop in Seville, Spain.
In 1979 after an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy, I moved to my step-brother’s home in Bowie, Maryland. At that time I was working several jobs and going to school in order to improve my English grammar, sometime later studied several photography courses at the University of Maryland and graphic design at the USDA Department of Agriculture in Washington D.C.”
