My fascination with cultures has always been a great motivation to explore and celebrate these images thru sculpture. My hands,tools and water-based clay is where it all begins. In 2001 the United Nations Secretary addressed the Florence Biennale with this thought… “Artist’s have a special role to play in the global struggle for peace. At their best, artists speak not only to people; they speak for them. Art is a weapon against ignorance and hatred and an agent of public awareness….
