Dominika Fedko-Wójs

Dominika Fedko-Wójs is a multidisciplinary painter from the young generation artists graduated from the Krakow’s Academy of Fine Arts in Poland. Fedko-Wójs creates in the spirit of Pure Form, she bases her works on higher metaphysical feelings, on achieving unity and utopia in art. Her paintings are characterized by dynamic brush strokes juxtaposed with focused fragments of the painting. They come from a strong observation of nature, from experiencing the reality that resonates through structure, color combinations and internal tensions.

The artist's works can be found in private collections in Poland and abroad, they start selling in recognized auction houses. Fedko-Wójs in 2020 had an individual painting exhibition in Krakow's Kazimierz, she took part in several group exhibitions, including in the National Museum in Krakow (art book), in the Małopolska Garden of Arts (photography). The animated film Masterclass, which she co-created, was i.a. the opening film of the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia in 2018. She received the title of Master of Arts after graduating with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts. Jan Matejko in Krakow at the Faculty of Graphics. For her master's thesis, she received the Award of the Society of Friends of Fine Arts, exhibited at the Palace of Art in Krakow.
