EXHIBITIONS
Virginia's artistic process is modeled after the working methods of traditional Taoist landscape painters. She travels alone to different cities and spends several days walking, exploring, and sketching the city at night. Her paintings are then created in the studio based on a memory, a sketch, or the impression of a certain mood captured during these journeys. She is naturally drawn to architectural, industrial and urban subject matter and the characteristic light effects of night scenes.
