Mauro Di Girolamo

Mauro Di Girolamo, born in Palermo in 1984 after completing his studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Palermo (Degree in visual arts and performing arts) and the experience of Erasmus in Valencia, Spain, continues to appear in a disruptive in the current art scene. His paintings are contemporary expressions, sometimes impalpable or highly material, three-dimensional figurative yet abstract. It is a painting whose figure is more descriptive than the usual eyes ever see, but expressive of an inner life: the painter, who observes and participates with the emotion to life.
Di Girolamo has participated in several group shows and has made many solo exhibitions, in comparison with a continuous search for visitors, and love for this frequent live performance paintings that come alive in museums, galleries, theaters and local Palermo and other places in Sicily, but also in European cities like Paris, Glasgow, Seville and Valencia.
In September 2013, he made a tribute to Italian most famous and appreciated XX century painter, Renato Guttuso, in a dual exhibition front to front with him, in Palermo.
