Ivy Pahlevan is a contemporary painter who is interested in evoking an emotional response from viewers through the experience of her artworks.
Focussing on how different colours and shapes can influence our perspective, Pahlevan's paintings are seeking to display a landscape of feelings or ideas rather than the literal interpretation. This phenomenon provides materials that allow the characteristics of these paintings to not just be seen, but felt and understood on a much deeper level.
