Maguy Vaz

Born in 1980 in Paris, I have always been driven by artistic creation. Curious, self-taught and passionate, I naturally oriented my practice of drawing towards painting. I developed my own techniques and my artistic touch.

In 2016, I feel the need to devote more time to my passion. In 2018, I exhibit individually for the first time. In 2019, I share my art with other artists and all art lovers through social networks and collective exhibitions. In 2020, I am leaving my job as a Product manager in marketing to devote it entirely to my passion. My works are exhibited in France and abroad, in galleries, art fairs, castles and other atypical places. They reach buyers and private collectors all over the world. In 2022, I acquire a studio-gallery very close to Paris where I work on my creations and I receive art lovers.

Influenced by different artistic currents and techniques, I describe my personal art as original and contemporary. From figurative to semi-abstract, I invite contemplation and imagination. Whether with graphic forms concealing figurative elements, or semi-realistic, sometimes naive representations, I like to tell stories on my canvases.
