Mara Sippel

My work is about revisualizing what is common. I use acrylics and canvas to paint figures, objects, seascapes and landscapes. I recently discovered digital art and love experimenting with color and form in that medium. Abstraction is the main goal of my art and expressing situations that are engaging. My influences are Kahlo, Diebenkorn, Hopper, Hockney, Ellsworth, Ellen de Kooning, Abbot and many others.
