Spending the better part of his life in Brooklyn New York, Nabil West has also lived in numerous places around the country and been involved in multiple art scenes. In the summer of 2009, he had a life changing experience when an accident placed him in intensive care. After multiple surgeries and months of rehab, he eventually had a near-full recovery. The accident had a profound impact on how he views the world and his time in it, providing a reminder that time could be short. "Life is best spent appreciating its beauty, hidden and apparent." Nabil not only appreciates this beauty, but attempts to capture and share from his own perspective. Nabil’s work can be seen at his New Canaan CT gallery, N.
