Paula would describe herself as a Storyteller. Her work evokes memories of past grandeur and fading glamour as she combines the richness of overflowing floral arrangements within settings of decayed texture. Her work is strong and sensual and filled with a high sense of baroque drama.
With skills obtained through a career of commercial and professional photography Paula’s highly technical pieces reflect her passion for creating scenes of contrast and tension. Having travelled widely, Paula developed her style during her years overseas. She and is greatly inspired by the works of the Dutch Masters and the early European Masters.
