MARIE XI is a Russian-born artist based in Moscow, specializing in abstract painting. A base of her creativity is art with no rules and boundaries. She is obsessed with non-traditional technics, she likes being in a game experiment mixing colors to get sophisticated tones; also creating and contrasting with textures. Her art is a reflection on a topic of her world perception. Her artworks are part of private collections in the US, Italy, Luxembourg, and Russia. Abstraction is a special, thought-provocative, deepest genre; a never-ending process, a style, over which you can think and reflect for a long time, opening up new facets and horizons. There are «languor», «sophistication», emotion, and character in my artworks. Time is my inspiration. Time can create masterpieces executed according to the golden ratio with the finest combinations of colors and textures… Withered leaves, old woods, peeling doors, walls, stairs; rotten avocado… My artworks are part of private collections in the US, Italy, Luxembourg, and Russia. I actively develop participating in exhibitions, competitions, and other art events.
