The Newfoundland (Canada) community of Brigus is a great neighbourhood with quiet streets and well kept properties mostly sectioned off with neat picket fences. The inspiration for this painting was the contrasting colour of the dark red shed and bright green lawn arranged in a very geometric linear pattern. The symmetry and order result in a serene experience. Brightest greens on a warm summer day evoke joy and light.
