About The Artwork

It has three panels. One might say that Claude Monet is the father of modern painting and he has shown with his spirit a new direction that is still valid today. Taking into consideration the relationship of light and color in his masterpieces, he depicts fundamental correlations. His recurring theme is the dazzling effect of the instantaneous change on the water surface. Impression, Sunrise, Water Lilies Series, etc. ..showing lights reflecting off the water with radiant colors on the surface. My abstract image is a horizontal work and it refers to Claude Monet’s series of giant panneaus like Nymphéas and Water Lilies at Musée de l'Orangerie Paris in France. I painted the shimmering colors and thousands movements of the sunrise and sunset in the reflection of the water.

Artist/Painter About his work: My paintings aim to project visual thoughts about sense and emotion on different levels of abstraction; thoughts about life which are condensed for a particular moment. I want to evoke a transcendent feeling by using the visual elements of our wider surroundings: earth, water, air, and fire. By doing this the perceived space and the inner space of our mind can find themselves in a new but nevertheless familiar relationship. I am concerned about creative methods in my pictures reminding us of the rythmn of nature, visual analogies and moments of permanent change which organise elements into structures. I am interested in the visual appearance of the inner structures of details and their universal validity. I am a juried member of the: Society of Hungarian Painters, Hungarian Artists Association, Association of Hungarian Fine and Applied Artists, Art Saloon at Siklós http://www.jarmeczky.com
