ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A fanciful interpretation of my garden in spring, as leaves and flowers slowly emerge from the earth. I exaggerate the process of growth and revel in seeing these plants appear. I hope the viewers are reminded of spring and appreciate its arrival as I do. I used oil paint for the subtlety of color and a palette knife for the ease of applying layer on layer of paint. It is wired for hanging. The edges are painted so no frame is necessary. If the new owner wishes to frame I could suggest a simple natural wood floater frame.
