Being born artist, I have drawn most of my life. After getting my diploma in Architecture from India, I went to United States for getting an idea of what it’s like living in western world and about its history, culture, people and of course art and architecture. Turning point of my artistic life came when I decided to switch my Major from Architecture (FIU, Miami) to Fine art-painting when I transferred to New Jersey City University. What triggered me most to do it was perhaps my first visit to MET. Those marvellous renaissance paintings just made me feel powerless and almost made me cry. While I was in US at art school I painted realistic inspiring from classical artists. However after returning to India something made me to paint differently. Now what I paint can be referred to as surreal and some cubism. I am one of those people who dream a lot. I have kind of mastered to remember my dreams, and try to implement in my work.
