The waratah, a flower native to Australia, and the state flower of New South Wales, is such a striking, heavily detailed flower that it doesn't need any accompaniment. The salmon variety is less iconic than the red, but still beautiful. I shot this bloom with a plain white background so that all you see is its raw beauty.
