I am an Italian freelancer landscape and portrait photographer living in The Netherlands. My journey into photography started in the year 2004 and since then it has been a growing and unstoppable passion in my life. To me photography is the art of capturing the moment, hunting lights, find inspiring prospective and create a piece of art by freezing time into an image. My prime source of inspiration comes from the magical encounter of nature and light. I do a lot of scouting so that when the light is right, I know my way around. Although I am fascinated by the woods, I truly enjoy being at the seaside every now and them. My favorite mood for woodland pictures embraces fog and early morning soft lights. Although we can predict the weather quite accurately, yet it might take days if not weeks of walking in the woods till the best conditions occurs. When it comes to editing, my first rule is that everything starts with a good photo. Then, lights, colors and compositions drive me into the editing process. Most of my images have that special mystical and very surreal look that could be a painting or a photograph. My portrait photography tends to be provocative, dreaming or abstract. When I think about my next photo, I like to be creative and thinking outside the box. It could be just a face, an expression, a social aspect or a meeting point between nature and people. I have been sharing my work internationally for many years, counting some important achievements and exposition I am very proud of. This includes finalist in some prestigious photography contests such as the Siena International Photo Award, WORLD'S TOP 10 Landscape Photo Contest and Filmmakers shortlisted for Earth Photo.
