ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a portrait of Drifter, a Tiger I was able to walk and work with while volunteering at the Wildlife Waystation in Los Angeles. He was rescued by the DEA chained to a crate of drugs in a storage unit. Drifter was the inspiration for my ongoing Xtinction Series benefitting Endangered Species. It is through art we can raise awareness and funds to support the organizations protecting and saving these animals from extinction. Drifter lived at the Wildlife Waystation until November 2016 when he passed away at 20 years old.
