Jim Tait

Born in Unst, Shetland in 1948. Oil painter specialising in seascapes.I have had a lifelong love of the sea, ships and art. I use vibrant colours to create dramatic seas and skies in my preferred medium of oils.

I attended Grays school of Art in Aberdeen after leaving high school. I have lost count of the number of shows I have put on at various venues in my native Shetland., and I've held one or two more on the Scottish mainland in recent years.
