William Kilgore

Hello. my name is William David Kilgore, I go by David, and I am sixty eight years old. I have often been asked why I go by my middle name. It's really quite simple, my father was also a William so in order to simplify things my family called me David. This is the name that I answered to most of my life, although while in the service I was known as Bill. Speaking of the service, some of you might find this some what different as I have served in three different branches of the military. They were the Marine Corp, Air force and Navy.
I have always loved art, something that I guess that I inherited from my Grandmother who in her own right was an artist. In the past I have worked leather as a custom hand made boot maker and saddler. I have made reproduction leather Items for such movies a Glory and Dances with wolves. I have also worked with stained glass and hand thrown pottery. I am an accomplished wood carver and have had my work displayed in interstate highway rest stops e and have won first place ribbons for my carvings.
