This work is inspired by the social and political conflicts occurring worldwide. The events that led to Russia attacking Ukraine, Israel's actions in Gaza, and other ongoing insurgencies on the African continent such as Sudan and Congo. Capitalism currently dominates the world, with a select few bullies who believe they have the right to exploit the resources of the weak. They finance wars for their own gain and impose greedy leaders who do not prioritize the welfare of their own people, which is deeply unsettling. It saddens me to witness children in Congo forced to work in coal mines and innocent lives lost in Gaza. Yet, these bullies project an image that entices the oppressed to risk their lives attempting to immigrate to their countries.
