Miniature from the series of works "Portraits of dogs in miniature". Made on canvas with oil paints of the professional series "Master class" from the factory "Nevskaya palitra". Framed in Italian plastic. Behind a special device (hanger) for hanging on the wall. Single and original author's painting. An imperturbable aristocrat of British blood, an adventurous hunter chasing prey up to his ears in the mud, and just a big joker. All these qualities coexist peacefully in Beagle dogs. Did you know that...? Beagles have repeatedly inspired artists, writers and filmmakers. Perhaps the most popular creation was a dog named Snoopy from the American comic strip Peanuts. Its main character is the shy boy Charlie Brown, who can't get his dog to obey. Another famous character is a puppy named Lou from the family comedy Cats vs Dogs. According to the story, he must learn spy tricks to get into the cat's lair and get the kidnapped dog Buddy out of trouble. The main character of the film "Superdog" also became a beagle. As a result of exposure to certain chemicals, the dog, nicknamed Glitter, begins to speak, fly, and acquires supernatural abilities.

I was born in the capital of a small Baltic country in a family of artists 51 years ago. I've been drawing since I was a child, as long as I can remember. I was friends with a neighbor boy whose parents were also artists. That's why he and I grew up in a creative environment. Perhaps such an environment (poets, artists, musicians, artists) influenced my development. I drew always and everywhere, and often automatically (unconsciously) . At the age of 17, after graduating from high school, I, as is typical of young people, was a terrible maximalist. It seemed to me that I already know everything and know how to do everything. My parents wanted me to continue my studies at the Art Academy.
