Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea was a book that captured my imagination as a child and opened my eyes to a new world. Its mysterious and unexplored world, full of strange life forms, awakened my sense of wonder about the oceans. This fascination has inspired me in my art practice throughout the years, and I am constantly reminded of the beauty and mysticism that lies beneath the surface of our world's waters. ✔ The painting is signed on the front and back. It is on a gallery-wrapped canvas with finished black edges and comes ready to hang. "Ocean Dreams" was created between July/December 2021 at the Otherworldly Dream Studio in Jerusalem. About the series "Intelligent Water": I find the hypothesis intriguing that Water is a sentient substance on Earth that receives signals from the Ether and converts them into psychic energy. Our existence is not independent, and we rely heavily on Water, among other things, making it difficult to deny its importance. We inhabit a living planet with an intelligent ocean where Water is a form of life, as portrayed in the Strugatskys' "Solaris." Essentially, we are nothing but carriers of particles of its intellect.

Alexey is an artist who seeks to connect with his audience on a deep and meaningful level. He achieves this by exploring the intersection between abstraction and surrealism, two powerful artistic concepts that allow him to express his inner world in a unique and compelling way. Alexey is not content with simply sharing his personal vision; however, he wants his viewers to be active participants in the creative process, inviting them to construct their own interpretations and narratives by engaging with his work emotionally and intellectually. Alexey's approach to art is grounded in a deep respect for the creative process and a willingness to embrace randomness and chance in his work. He is not constrained by preconceived notions or rigid ideas about how art should be created. Instead, he allows his intuition and imagination to guide him, taking advantage of the mind's remarkable ability to find order in chaos. Ultimately, Alexey's goal is to move beyond the mere replication of reality and toward creating a world that reflects his innermost thoughts and feelings. By pushing the boundaries of artistic expression and inviting his audience to join him on this journey, he hopes to inspire others to explore their own creativity and unlock their full potential as artists and human beings. www.alexeyadoninart.com
