Curated by Anders Hingel
My print-making works are mostly mix-media images which are exploring the subconscious dimension of reality, that is created with our emotions, experience and knowledge about societal and natural phenomena.
Some of the images are based on photographic shots of nature or big-city scenes across the world, others are based on expressionist abstract drawings or paintings. They are simulacres of reality, a representation without a clear and direct reference to the world as seen with our eyes.
To paraphrase an infamous poet: my images are abstract and surrealistic, but they are true. (B. Cendrars)
Some of my most recent works are based on mainly acrylic paint and chinese ink drawings and are abstract works exploring abstraction and its geometrical traditions.
The images in my portfolio are mixed media works using technics of acrylic or oil pastel paintings, Photography, collage, photomontage and digital modifications.
All images are made in editions of 10 originals, including 3 artist prints.
