Disturbances

At the heart of certainty, there is turbulence. In this series of hand quilted silk constructions, Marilyn Henrion leads Josef Albers’ “Homage To The Square” on a wild ride through a series of dazzling permutations, reflecting various forms and degrees of turbulence. The artist invites the viewer to interpret the metaphorical images in this series anywhere on the scale from the cosmic, to the terrestrial, to the personal.
