About Marilyn Henrion

b. 1932, New York City, recipient of a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in 2005, Marilyn Henrion is a graduate of Cooper Union and a native New Yorker. Her works are included in museum, corporate and private collections worldwide. Henrion is also represented in the Smithsonian Institution's Archives of American Art. From her early textile-based works in geometric abstraction to her more recent mixed media collages, all are deeply rooted in the urban geometry of her surroundings as a life-long New Yorker.
