The children are frustrated about the idea of being kept at home, quarantined in a closed space. A hand reaches out for a hopeful future, promising the children the freedom of their childhood back. This childhood that is abducted from the young by an uncontrollable force, the force of a natural power, one called COVID-19. The faces of the people in this piece, show such dulness through the rough material and strokes. An emotionally charged art piece, conveying the fatigue that this quarantine has caused to the people of this world. The artist added arabic calligraphy to the artwork to express the impact of this pandemic on the arab world. This placement has been meaningful to the artist showing her identity in this artwork.
