About The Artwork
I took part in the 2014 art residency The Inishlacken Project in Connemara, County Galway Ireland. The group of artists on the res travel by speedboat onto an unihabited island (Inishlacken) each morning. the sea was full of jellyfish and as they washed up on the beach the word 'Jellyfish' became the word of the week, prompting this quick seaweed and rope collage on the beach.
