I am a high school senior who began painting in December of 2013. I love the middle 1900's abstract expressionism period. Barnett Newman and Ellsworth Kelly are my two favorite artists. I recently discovered the expressive freedom of pen-and-ink drawing and that is what I am experimenting with right now as well as over-painted photographs. I want my art to tell a story, regardless of what the story is, and leave the viewer asking for more.
