Amid the vast and desolate expanse of a desert landscape, the Earth bears the scars of a chapter in history that reminds us of the immeasurable value of life. Craters, etched into the arid terrain, stand as somber relics of past nuclear tests—powerful reminders of humanity's capacity for both creation and destruction. Each crater, a testament to the cataclysmic forces unleashed, tells a story of scientific ambition and political tension. While these tests were born from a desire for knowledge, they also underscore the potential consequences of our actions. As one gazes upon these craters, it becomes clear that they represent more than just geological scars. They are reminders of the collective responsibility we bear to protect and cherish the gift of life. They evoke contemplation on the importance of safeguarding our planet and the well-being of its inhabitants. In the quiet desert, where the winds whisper secrets of the past, the craters are an urgent call to action. They symbolize the need for a world where the pursuit of knowledge is balanced by a commitment to peace, preservation, and the sanctity of all life. These craters, stark against the desert backdrop, serve as enduring symbols of hope and resilience. They urge us to learn from our history, to choose the path of cooperation, and to safeguard the future of our fragile planet. It is in the presence of these scars that we are reminded of the value of life and the imperative to protect it at all costs.

Valentyna Rybkina was born in 1977. After graduating from National University with a Master's in Politology and Sociology, she started to oil paint in 2013 as a self-taught artist influenced by great artists like Aivazovsky. She invites you to remember with her paintings the sunny and happy places you may have visited or plan to visit again, to see how beautiful nature is. She hopes you can look at the colors of her painting, enjoy them, relax, and forget about your problems. Life is good ;) She is especially interested in oil landscapes (ocean and seascape) and has always been passionate about flowers - these are the main thematic focus of all her works.
