The Gods Watch Artwork - Limited Edition of 40

"The Gods Watch." ©2022 Zasloff. This is a piece I've been working on for the last few weeks. If you look at New Works2 on my site, zasloff.com - what I said about my fine art originals titled the "Life Series" was: "I WANTED TO EXPLORE TEXTURAL SURFACE SUBTLETIES USING BITS AND PIECES OF TEXT I CULLED FROM MAGAZINES. THE COLLAGE, THE PAINTING, THE COLOR INTERFACES AND ESPECIALLY THE BITS AND PIECES OF TEXT REPRESENT METAPHORS OF MY EXPERIENCES AS I JOURNEYED THROUGH LIFE." This new work, which was created solely as a digital piece, is my continuation of the logical exploration of digital intersections of text, collage, painting and beautiful color. Although it's a digital print and not a painted work, the textural exploration, textural contrast, textural "mark making play" and use of beautiful color were uppermost in my mind as I "danced through" all the possibilities that presented themselves. The print is a signed and numbered work, 30"x22," on Arches paper. © Zasloff 2022.
