It came together with more illustrations inspired by Shakespeare's works, its figurative elements as symbols of the frailty of life (the finch), the passing of time and the fading of beauty (the feathers in the background). Isabella Thermes (Tokki) completed her first MA degree in Modern Literature, Philology and Art History in Italy, her country of birth. She lived and studied in Boston, US and London, UK where she worked as a literary agent while nurturing a lifelong passion for illustration. Some years ago she moved to Berlin to pursue a full-time career as illustrator and graphic novelist. In 2016 she did her first solo exhibition in Italy (under the name of Isabella Thermes), began developing her first graphic novel ('The Human Heart') and started participating to collective exhibitions in Berlin and Madrid.
