This set of three drawings was inspired by Achard of St. Victor's sermon "temple of the soul." The Victorines were a monastic order in France from the 10-12 century and are one of the groups pointed to when discussions of liberal arts education are on the table. They took great stock in the human imagination and went to great pains to develop and sustain it.
